Synopsis

Infatuation has everything you’d expect from an MC romance: badass alpha-male; sweet, sassy heroine with troubles; hot, steamy sex; and plenty of emotional conflict between the hero and heroine. So what sets Infatuation apart from all the other MC romance stories out there? The problems Beau and Mackenzie face and the emotional upheavals that result are real. Real in the sense that thousands upon thousands of women (and men) face them every single day.

For those familiar with the Knights Rebels MC series, it should come as no surprise that Mackenzie comes from an abusive past. Readers were introduced to her in the last installment of the series when Beau rescued her from her abusive husband. But something happened, forcing her to seek safety with the Knights Rebels and eventually finding it in Beau’s arms.

Beau has his own demons to face.  He lost his sister to abuse and the guilt he feels – for not doing more, for not being able to save her – drives him to want to protect women with a passion that borders on obsession. What he wants from Mackenzie and his need to protect her (even from himself) are at war with each other.  Can he find a way to have her in his life and still keep her safe?

River Savage goes beyond the typical romance novel. She addresses a very sensitive issue (abuse) with integrity and honesty that may be difficult for readers, especially those use to the formulaic, happy ever after story. Beau and Mackenzie will suck you into their story and take you for a ride you won’t forget.  Readers will get everything they want in a steamy romance and then some.
