It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that I just could not put down.  Don’t get me wrong…I’ve read some good books. Books I’ve enjoyed. But a book that made me want to stay up all night to finish it? To keep telling myself ‘end of the chapter’? It’s been a while.

Cristin Harber and the men of Titan to the rescue! Delta: Revenge is full of hot, hawt sex; strong characters; and adrenaline fueled, heart-thumping action.

If you’ve read my reviews before, you know I don’t rehash the plot. There’s a two main reasons – 1. You can read the damn blurb for yourself; and 2. I don’t want to give away any main plot points and/or possible spoilers. This is one of those times I want to though, because I want to break each scene down and tell you want I loved about each one. 

So instead, let’s focus on the characters. We’re introduced to Sophie on the day of her non-wedding, questioning everything she’s about to do. He’s not really a primary character in the book, but Cristin sums up the fiance perfectly in one short phrase.

            “Adequate sex and a good soufflé”

That may do it for some, but not Sophie. She’s not the kind of girl who settles for adequate sex. She’s the kind of girl that gets into situations that require a “shit’s-gone-down-now-do-this-manual.” She wants passion and a guy who’s going to make her swoon. And boy does she find it in Javier.

But, of course, Javier is tortured. Growing up in the slums or Rio de Janeiro, fighting for money, trying to find and punish the criminals who trafficked his sister, he has a lot of issues. And Cristin just keeps on torturing him. It may make me evil, but I loved it.

So you get it, right? Delta: Revenge is a great read. Don’t worry about it being book two of a new series—a spin-off of her Titan series—it can be read as a stand-alone. If you like action and steamy, sexy couples, you need this book in your life.
