I’m still mad at Meghan March for dragging this book out. I’m just going to say that up front. She keeps ending it right when it’s getting good.
I devoured Dirty Pleasures, the same way I did Dirty Billionaire. In this installment, we see more of the loving and doting man Creighton can be. Unfortunately, he screws up. Again. When you’re trying to build a relationship with a person, especially someone you want to trust you, it’s important not to leave out important details. Omission can often times be just as detrimental as lying out right. But for all he did wrong he did so much right and I’m definitely on Team Creighton this go-round.
We also see more of Holly in her element as a rising country star. Creighton comes to the realization he didn’t marry a woman who was just going to follow him around and be arm candy. She is definitely her own woman.
But she is also his wife and he wants everyone to know.
What would romance be without a little conflict, though? It throws Holly for a loop and a wrench in everything Creighton has worked for.
Once again, the emotion and characters are what make this story worth reading. Meghan March has woven an intense and suspenseful romance between Holly and Creighton. If they can only get over their hangups.
